We are a locally owned, full-service eye care / vision center in Mount Vernon with a team of optometrists, ophthalmologists and opticians to take care of every part of your eyes and vision. We are proud to be here in Mount Vernon to take care of the eyes not only in our neighborhoods, but across the world through our missions worldwide. Our world is your vision.

Note 1: The office hours listed below apply to walk-in and optical hours. Appointment times may be made outside of the hours listed.
Our phones are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day.

Note 2: The second FULL week of every month on Thursday, every location’s hours will be 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM. This is to allow for the monthly continuing education of our staff.

Jean Kassem, MD, joins us as Dr. Heffernan, longtime ophthalmic plastics specialist, retires. Dr. Kassem, also an ophthalmic plastics specialist, will continue offering lid and related surgery here at Cascadia Eye. In addition, he will provide adult strabismus (muscle) surgery–which is new to us. We are so pleased to not only continue the excellence Dr. Heffernan started here, but to add to it with new services. Dr. Kassem is available in our Mount Vernon office on Wednesdays.
