Billing Just Got Easier (and Greener)

July 2025 – In response to rising postage costs and a growing need for more convenient service, we’ve made a small but important update to how we send your billing statements.
This is how it will work: first, as before, your insurance will process their part of the payment for your eye care. Once this is complete, we will upload the remaining portion of your bill to your patient portal and send a notice directly to you via a secure text message link. You can reply to the text with questions—anytime it’s convenient for you—and get helpful responses from our team. Because of this update, going forward you’ll need to have an email address on file and your patient portal activated to receive your billing statements.
Prefer a printed copy? No problem. Just stop by any Cascadia Eye office and we’ll happily provide one. You can also log into your patient portal at any time to view or download current and past statements.
This change allows us to offer more accessible, eco-friendly, and responsive billing options—designed around your schedule.
